1987 born forward Jared Smale is no longer with the Weyburn Red Wings due to disciplinary action. The Red Wings organization are currently entertaining trade offers for Smale at this time.
“We have put his name out there and we are looking at offers. So far we haven’t found an offer that works for us. Some teams have given us offers for a defenceman or a goalie that we just don’t need but we are continuing to listen in hopes of making our team better. Right now our team is fine and will continue to conduct just fine without Jared,” said coach McMillan.
The loss of Jared isn't a huge hit to the Red Wings offence as their team is steadily proving themselves this year and Brayden Nargang could be joining the team soon. One problem with that is the fact that coach McMillan is now having a hard time setting up the final roster due to impressive play of the youngsters in the organization.

As Jared's billets we just want to say that we wish all the best to Jared and hope that things work out for him in his hockey dreams and his life dreams. Good luck Jared! We're glad we had the chance to get to know you!
