Were you happy to get a deal done for Jared Smale after patiently waiting for a some time?
Dwight McMillan: Yah we certainly were happy to get the deal done. As soon as it is made official we will be down to our 25 players. We have 22 skaters and three goalies that I feel real strongly about.

Why did you decide to give up Alex Horsburgh as well?
DM: Well it was just part of the deal. It’s not something we wanted to do but we felt that we had to give him up to get the deal done.

As for Lucas Faganely where does he fit into the club?

Dwight didn't want to give me much information at the moment but he mentioned that they are waiting to see if he reports to the club as Ontario kids sometimes don't want to play in Saskatchewan. He also mentioned that it was just time to get the deal done and thinks it was the right trade for the team. He did have this to say regarding Smale.

DM: We are working on a new identity for our club and unfortunately Jared didn’t fit in with the type of club we are building. We want a strong, self disciplined team and I think we have that right now.
