Wings Rebound With Win!

I did not get a chance to listen to the game tonight as I was in Regina for the Pats-Swift Current Broncos game so I will not be able to provide any insight other than to what is on the scoresheet.

Torrey Lindsay led the way for the Wings tonight as he had 2 goals and an assist. Stephen Simms and Kyle Haines (empty netter also scored. Rhett Bly and Preston Shupe each had two assists for the Wings with Mick Pawlyshyn also picking up an assist. Nickolaus Dvorak scored late in the third to spoil the shutout bid for AJ Whiffen. Rick Cey and Kirk Moore assisted on the lone Stars goal. Whiffen made 31 saves for the win. Ryan Kerpan played a strong game for the Stars making 35 saves. The Wings now lead both Kindersley and Melville by six points in the Sherwood. A reminder that the Wings are back in action tomorrow night with a 6:00 game back in Kindersley.
