Haines and the boys ready for the Northstars

Troy Kramm: How was your second All Star game experience and what is the atmosphere like at an SJHL All Star Game?

Haines: Well everyone is there to have some fun and meet some new people. We all just have a good time and get a chance to make some new plays that we aren’t really able to try in the regular season.

TK: Did you enjoy having Bray, Lindsay and Nargang join you in Yorkton on this year’s All Star Team?

Haines: Yah it was fun to have some team-mates come along. It was fun trying to make some fancy plays to make each other look good.

TK: Is the loss versus Notre Dame still weighing on the teams shoulders or is it something you guys can use as motivation versus Battlefords tonight?

Haines: We are definitely going to use it as motivation. We had a ton of chances versus Notre Dame but we just couldn’t execute. We have polished up on some things during these last few days and are expecting to put plenty of pucks in the net tonight.

TK: What else can we expect to see from the Red Wings tonight when you take on the Northstars?

Haines: A lot of pressure, some hard checking and plenty of pucks on their net that we are going to bang home. We want to create plenty of chances all
night.
