I gave Dwight a call this afternoon to get some comments following the Red Wings 10-1 beating last night. Here is what he had to say.
TK: What were some of the things that went wrong last night versus Kindersley?
McMillan: We started out OK but then they got a couple early goals on the powerplay and then we came out flat for the rest of the game. We didn't have a good enough effort to even compete with their team last night.
TK: What are you going to do different for tonight's game versus Battlefords?
McMillan: I'm not going to do anything different, I just hope the boys do things a little differently. They have to bring some more work ethic if they want to win this game. They better be prepared to play a more physical game and control the puck better if they want to win.
TK: You get a chance to play Kindersley again on Sunday, are you looking forward to playing them so soon for a chance to redeem yourself?
McMillan: Yah at least it should be fresh in our minds that they booted us around all night on Friday.

sure is quiet on here now. Good win in Battlefords tonight(Saturday)
it is quiet because people have to sign up rather than being anonymous. too many people wanted to post some inappropriate stuff online. we would like to keep track of where the comments come from just in case they are unacceptable.

Ya the boys looked like they had no intensity. I beleive they need Norm out there a little more to teach them some better skating techniques. Maybe even pull tires more often to strengthen there legs.
keep up the good work Norm and get those boys taking cretien.
