CJAHL Rankings for Week Ended Jan. 6

The Canadian Junior A Hockey League announced today its Top 15 rankings for the week of December 30th to January 5th.

Last week’s rankings and the leagues in which the teams belong to are in parenthesis.

The CJAHL Top 15 as of Saturday, January 5th

Honorable mention goes to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks (BCHL), Okotoks Oilers (AJHL), Melfort Mustangs (SJHL), Weyburn Red Wings (SJHL), Kindersley Klippers (SJHL), Fort William North Stars (SIJHL), Soo Thunderbirds (NOJHL), Vaughan Vipers (OPJHL), Huntsville Otters (OPJHL), Newmarket Hurricanes (OPJHL), Brockville Braves (CJHL), and the Truro Bearcats (MJAHL).

The rankings are based upon a variety of factors which includes the league in which the teams belong to, their winning percentage, their win-loss record, total points accumulated, their goals-for versus goals-against ratio, amongst other factors.

I cant understand why weyburn isnt at least in the top 15? I think we've got twice the team Humboldt does and they are ranked 4th? Obviously whoever does these rankings has never seen our boys play! Im still in disbelief. First Whiffen doesnt make the All Star team and now this. Does the whole world hate us just because were so good?
