Suspensions and Fines!

SJHL suspends Melfort F Jordan Morgan 3 games for fighting at the conclusion of a game, resulting in an incident. Suspension includes games on January 5, 8, and 9. Head Coach Darrell Mann is suspended 1 game for receiving a gross misconduct. He’s also fined $300. Suspension includes game played January 5.

SJHL suspends Battlefords F Mitch Wall for 3 games as a result of a fight at the conclusion of a game that resulted in an incident. Suspension includes games January 8, 9, and 11. Battlefords F Tony Oak is suspended 5 games for instigating a fight at the conclusion of a game, re-entering the incident after being escorted by an official. Suspension includes games January 8, 9, 11, 12, and 15. The Stars are fined $500 for failure to control players on the bench at the end of a game, failing to co-operate with the game official, and being deemed the instigator of this incident. The Stars are fined an additional $400 for failure to properly videotape a game.
