Torrey time

Troy Kramm: How are you and the team preparing for these upcoming three games in three nights up North?

Torrey Lindsay: We had a good first two days of practice this week and are continuing with conditioning. The next few days we will have some high tempo practices with plenty of drills to run. It should get us ready for Friday.

TK: With no games this week, did you get some time to rest up or are you worried that a week without games will hinder your performance at all?

Lindsay: There is a chance that there could be a little rust but we have had some hard practices pretty much twice a day. Most of the guys have been hitting the gym so we should be ready to go.

TK: You banged home the winning goal versus Melfort last week and have been battling for the team scoring lead throughout the year, have you felt confident in your play? Is there anything you would like to improve on?

Lindsay: Well I would definitely like to score a few more goals. That was my first goal in eight games, so I would just like to score a little more consistently and chip in during some of those close games.

TK: Christmas is coming up and the Red Wings are known to pick it up in the second half of the season and really show the league what they are made of, do you think the team can keep up their great pace and stay in first?

Lindsay: Oh yah, we should be able to do it. If we keep on improving every game after Christmas there is really no reason why we can't keep it going.
