Hounds Double Up Bruins!

The Notre Dame Hounds led 4-0 after one and never looked back as they dumped the Estevan Bruins 6-3 on Monday night in Wilcox. Chris Bratina led the way for the Hounds as he scored a goal and added two assists. Marc - Andre Nadeau, Blake Peake, TJ Ahvenniemi, Cody Mapes and Dieter Gillanders also scored for the Hounds. Kyle Ireland and Richard Hubesier (playing his first game of the season) each had two assists for the Hounds. Chad Filteau had a goal and an assist for the Bruins. Brennan Wrigley and Brant Harris had the other Bruins' markers. Mark Currie was strong in the Notre Dame goal as he made 34 saves. It was a tough night for David Ritz in the Estevan goal as he allowed six goals in 25 shots. The Bruins missed out on a chance to move ahead of Kindersley for third in the Sherwood with the loss. The two teams will face each other again tomorrow, this time in Estevan.
