SJHL Players of the Week

SJHL FORWARD OF THE WEEK

Winner: Brent Ottmann, Nipawin Hawks

Highlights: Ottmann helped the Hawks to a 2-0-and-1 record in the last seven days as he potted the overtime winner on Sunday night against the Battlefords North Stars. He also had two assists in that game. Ottmann picked up a hat trick in a win over Estevan last Tuesday. For the season, Ottmann has 14-goals and 20-assists in 28-games.

Runners-up: Pierre-Luc Boucher, Reid MacLeod, Dustyn Clegg, David Linsley, Flin Flon Bombers; Torrie Dyck, Nipawin; Scott Schroeder, Humboldt.

SJHL DEFENSEMAN OF THE WEEK

Winner: Myles Masse, Flin Flon Bombers

Highlights: Masse had six assists in three games played last week. He now has 3-goals and 19-assists in 31-games on the season. Last week, Masse had three assists against La Ronge on Friday and three more helpers one night later as the Bombers blew out Weyburn.

Runners-up: Justin Perreaux, Kindersley; Voldy Dashko, Humboldt; Derek Edwards, Melville; Tyler Karst, La Ronge.

SJHL GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK

Winner: Travis Bosch, Melville Millionaires

Highlights: Bosch led the Mils to a pair of wins over the weekend as he made 22-saves in a 3-1 win over Kindersley on Friday. Bosch then turned away 37-shots on Sunday in a 3-2 decision over the Klippers. Bosch has picked up the slack in the absence of Kyle Cantlon. Bosch has played in eight straight games (seven starts) and has compiled a 4-2-and-1 record with a 2.19-GAA and .931-SPCT over that time period. For the season, Bosch has a 2.54-GAA and .924-SPCT.

Runners-up: Calvin Bartel, Flin Flon; Derek Kleinsteuber, Nipawin; Taylor Nelson, Humboldt; Karsten Felske, Estevan.
