Stars - Mustangs Make Blockbuster Trade!

The Battlefords North Stars facing realization that the playoffs are not a possibility this year have shipped their two biggest offensive weapons to the Melfort Mustangs.

The Stars have shipped 20 year old forward Jason Walker and 19 year old forward Nick Kalnicki to the Melfort Mustangs for 1989 born defenseman Kassidy Collins, 1990 born forward Colton Graf and 1991 born forward Bo Lenard. Graf was recently returned to the Mustangs from the WHL and should help replace some of the offense the Stars lose with Walker and Kalnicki no longer in the fold.
