Response to fanfanatic post on SJHL fan forum

As many of you know, A Battlefords North Stars fan named Stars 123 and myself have done some ranting back and forth over the years on the SJHL forum. As I anticipated he would be excited for his teams win tonight, I made a post mocking the way that Stars 123 normally posts. Apparently I drew the ire of a Red Wing fan. To this fan - It was certainly not an attack on the North Stars or Adrien Lemay but rather a friendly jab at Stars 123. If you happened to take the time to read my summary from tonight's game - I even named Lemay my number one star of the night.

At least I am man enough to put my name on my posts which is more what I can say for you. Tell me to grow up all you want - but tell me to my face next time. Be a grown up and talk it out with me face to face.
Here is what I said:

"Wow. It took you five minutes to get hear after the game to post. There's a shocker. Although I was not at the game I can assure you that the current Battlefords team with this win has solidified themselves as the best group of 20 players the SJHL has ever seen. Adrien Lemay will no doubt win goaltender of the year as nobody else can compare to the great Frenchy. I assure you this is all the truth. "


For the record here is what he said:

The following is a quote from the Weyburn blog written by Brad M.: "Good Lord. I hope you are kids posting anonymously and not grown adults. Grow up and if you want to bash a 19 year old junior player with this kind of garbage...."

"Although I am not a Battleford fan I would like to know why it is okay for Brad M to bash a whole team full of young junior players but it is not okay for someone to state their opinion on a red wing player????

All stars123 stated was that the goalie should be praised, and he should if the shots were as he stated and they still won the game. And if stars123 was here 5 minutes after the game (9:42) then you were here 5 minutes later (9:47) to bash him. Grow up is right! "

Thanks to the other regular posters like canislupus on SJHL forum that understood where I came from and knew I was having some fun.

Your comments on Simms were clearly bashing the player - so you sir or madam - whoever you are "Anonymous" - can GROW UP!
