Stephen Simms

1988 born defenseman Stephen Simms has accepted a scholarship to Lake Superior State, an NCAA school that is no stranger to recruiting out of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Simms had 9-goals and 31-assists in 58-games this past season and scored 10-goals and 27-assists in 56-games as a rookie in 2006-07. The Reidville NF product also played in the CJAHL Prospects Game in 2006-07 and in 2007-08, he was the third highest scoring blueliner in the SJHL. LSSU has former SJHLers Troy Schwab, Josh Sim, Chad Nehring, Dillin Stonehouse, and Tyson Hobbins on its roster this season.

As a Laker fan i'm wondering what type of player we're getting? The article also said we were wanting Haines also, is he coming to Lake State too? Thanks.
offensive defensive with a bullet of a shot, great passer and pp guy. hanines is more stay at home guy, great at shuting down the opposition.
