Former Wing Traded Again!

Forward Jared Smale wore out his welcome for a second time as the Port Hope Predators have dealt Smale in a multi-player deal to the Fort McMurray Oil Barons of the AJHL. Smale only played six games in Port Hope and managed only 1 assist and 42 penalty minutes in six games. Smale has not played for Port Hope in over three weeks and was apparently sent home to Edmonton to await a trade.

He is ruining his career.

He ruined his career when he was 18.

he could have an amazing hockey career ahead of him if he got an attitude adjustment. he wasn't happy in weyburn, wasn't happy in port hope. fort mac probably isn't gonna be any different. he's a great player if he could learn to get along with people.

I would be surprised if he reports to Fort Mac. Personally I think he should just put his focus on something other than hockey.

Maybe he will play better now that he is closer to home and will feel at home. Best of luck Smale!

Prove em wrong!

Smale is not on Fort Mac's roster. I checked it out today and the other two players that got traded there are, but he isn't. That's probably the best thing for him. He doesn't seem to be content anywhere he goes. Hopefully he can (as was mentioned before) focus on something other than hockey now and get his life on track.
